Permissions

Overview

Permissions are the fundamental building blocks of the User Management module. They define what actions a user can perform within the system. Permissions are assigned to roles, which are then assigned to users, ensuring a streamlined and secure access control mechanism.

Key Concepts:

  • Create: Ability to add new records or data within the module.
  • Read: Permission to view or access data without making changes.
  • Update: Rights to modify existing records or data.
  • Delete: Authorization to remove records or data from the system.
  • Delete all: Permission to delete all records from the system.
  • Post: Permission to post transactions or entries into the general ledger, customer ledger, vendor ledger, bank account ledger, employee ledger, item ledger, cashier ledger, leave ledger or fixed asset ledger.

Permissions can be customized to fit the specific needs of your organization, ensuring that each role has the appropriate level of access.
